Fat shark dominator v3 battery issue

Hi! I recently purchased a pair of the fat shark dominator v3 from you guys and immediately out of the box the voltages for the battery were all funky and it would not charge. One cell was all the way empty and the second cell was low. Any ideas or solutions on how to fix this? Don’t want to have to buy a new battery right after spending $400 on a new pair of goggles.

Fatshark has recently updated their batteries to disable balance charging. Is it possible that this is why you are getting strange cell readings?

The Fatshark batteries have an internal balancing mechanism and don’t require external balancing.

If there is an actual problem with the battery you can send it back to us and we can do a warranty replacement- Quadquestions is an official Fatshark dealer and we are more than happy to help. Simply send a message to support@quadquestions .com

So is there a way to charge their batteries on a normal charging unit or do I have to purchase the fat shark charging unit? I tried charging it without the balance plug and not on balance charge and still couldn’t get anything.
