How to get rid of oscillations in horizon mode? (Betaflight 3.1.7, SP F3)

I’m working on a 280 quad with a SP F3 running Betaflight 3.1.7 using PWM for ESCs.

The PIDs seem to work since I have no problems in rate mode, but in horizon mode I can’t seem to get rid of oscillations??

Whenever I hover it oscillates on both pitch and roll at about 2-4hz.

The FC is mounted on a plate with rubber feet.

Older articles mention level PIDs but these seems to be gone in Betaflight 3.x.

My first quad was a Tarot 650 on a CC3D running OpenPilot and it was rock solid in auto level mode.

So I don’t understand if the problem is the size of the quad or the software it self?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I lowered Strength to 28 and that did help quite a bit. It still wobbles sometimes but right now I think that’s just turbulence.

You will get some wobbles if you are descending through the propwash. Glad that lowering the strength helped. Thanks for posting here, and for following up with your answer.
