QQ190 RTF Not Responding To Trimming Adjustments

Per the title. I am following the instructions on how to do fine tuning of the QQ190 RTF trim settings and it seems to not be responding and if anything, exacerbating the issue.

Example:

1.)After doing the base calibration (left stick top left corner, right stick straight down) I will arm the quad and proceed to apply enough throttle to allow it to lift off the ground. At this point, the quad will begin to drift backwards. Even if I get it 5 or 6 feet in the air it will still drift backwards slightly.

2.)I land the quad and begin doing the fine tune trimming (left stick full up and then right stick held in the opposite direction that the quad is drifting which in my case is to move the right stick forward to hopefully offset the backwards drift.)

3.) After performing this procedure the backwards drift is still there and seems actually to become worse. I tried doing this process three times and by the third, it is not even a drift but just going backwards on lift off.

Any help?

Hi John,  The Accelerometer will only effect Horizon and Angle mode.  If you aren’t in those modes then you will not notice a change when calibrating the accelerometer. It sounds like you are performing the procedure correctly. Can you check the model when connected to Betaflight to make sure that the quad responds correctly to your movements?

Can you verify what kind of Radio you are using?  It is possible that your radio is not showing your channels centered at 1500, with a min at 1000 and a max at 2000 which could be causing your issue.

Does that help?
