Video feed not going thru the Osdoge to the transmitter.

Need help with the Osdoge board. There doesn’t seem to be any video signal coming from the camera ( Lumenier 650 mini). I can get the camera to work directly off the transmitter ( Immersion 600). So I know it’s working. I also know there is power going to the camera when plugged into the Osdoge board. I’m thinking it might be the switch next to the USB. Thanks for any help. I’ve only had the osdoge for a short time. By the way, I did have it working and then it stopped.

Hi Louie. Issues with the camera not being detected by the OSD have been around for a while. There was a fix introduced in MWOSD 1.5 that solves the issue in the vast majority of cases. I suggest you upgrade, as the OSD currently ships with MWOSD 1.2. You can download the new release here: https://github.com/ShikOfTheRa/scarab-osd/releases and use Arduino to upload the program.

Let us know how it goes!

Carl,
Thanks. I will give this a try. It just weird that I had it working. Then after some more setting up and fine tuning on my qav210 it stopped showing video.

Louie,

If you had purchased the board with us, you could send it back and I would flash it to MWOSD 1.5.

If you still can’t get it, pm me and you can send your replacement to us to program.

If you want to order a new one from us, we will flash with 1.5 before we send it out.

Let me know if any of those options help and again, I am sorry that you are having problems with the board.

Thanks

Anthony

I will keep you posted.

Well, I gave it a shot. Sadly I still could not get it to work. Could there be a problem with using Windows 10? I’m getting an exchange on the board and will upgrade it to the 1.5. Wish I was able to fix it in case anyone else ran into the same problem, but it is above my pay grade and I just want to get back to flying. Thanks for all the help guys. And thanks for the call Anthony.

Hi Louie, if that jumper was connected, remove the jumper.

Instead please try to install the latest version of MWOSD 1.5

You can find the info on how to do that here:

I will give that a shot. Right now when I look thru the goggles I can see the osd with a grey background.
