Skew planar & Cloverleaf Antenna set for FPV Flight
A circularly polarized omni directional antenna design that has revolutionized FPV. Use this antenna set on both transmitter and receiver. We have built these sets with a 90 degree end on the Skew planar (4 bladed antenna) so that It can work on the ground, and a straight SMA connector on the Cloverleaf (3 bladed antenna) for use on the aircraft.
This antenna has good axial ratio and rejects multipath interference very well.
Unlike other antennas made of thin welding wire, these have been made of thicker, more resilient wire and custom wire junctions allowing for a stronger connection between the antenna’s wires and the center connector. (see soldering detail photos)
This set is Right Hand Circular Polarized and designed to work together. If upgrading your ground station by running a diversity controller with a helical antenna, you will want to make sure that t is also RHCP.
