Hi, while it might be something that you can do, (seperate a 4 cell battery into multiple cells) It is ill-advised.
Lipo batteries that are puffed or have other issues can become a serious fire hazard. If you end up directly shorting out the battery you can cause a fire.
My advice would be to discharge the cells and recycle the battery. If you do end up modifying the battery, keep a fire extinguisher handy, and keep the battery out of your car, out of your house, away from structures, etc. The last thing you want to do is to burn down your house or worse…
